If you’ve read about my MAC Neutral, Bright and Dark Lipsticks, then you’d have realised just how much I love these lipsticks! However, from the collection I have, I felt that there were some shades that didn’t quite fit into any of those categories, but rather, fall somewhere in between.
So, today I’m going to be showing you the last of my collection – my MAC mid-tone shades. I consider these to be mid-tones as even though some may be bright they are not as intense as the others bright shades I have, and though some are neutral, they are not as muted. So, here goes….
I have 9 mid-tone shades in total – the below 5 are the darker ones, and the other 4 that follow are a bit lighter.
From left to right:
Chatterbox (Amplified Finish): A gorgeous deep barbie pink that’s highly pigmented but not over the top. One of my favourites and looks great on everyone!
Vegas Volt (Amplified Finish): Another one of my favourites! A super intense orange-toned red that really makes a statement! Gorgeous colour that goes well with most skin tones and is great if you don’t feel comfortable wearing a deep red.
Crosswires (Cremesheen Finish): A pigmented deep coral pink that’s nice and glossy. Great for a toned-down classy casual look. Beautiful on all skin tones.
See Sheer (Lustre Finish): A beautiful muted coral red that’s perfect for all year round and on all skin tones. It’s a lustre finish so it’s not super intense and has a bit of a shine too it. A perfect colour for a sophisticated day time look.
CB96 (Frost Finish): I’m not such a fan of frosts but this colour caught my eye! A shimmery reddish-orange based coral. This looks fantastic on a tan.
The lighter mid-tones shades are as follows:
Ravishing (Cremesheen Finish): This is another favourite! (Must stop saying that!) Just love this for a beautiful day time look. This peachy coral is super flattering especially on fair skin. Love this!
Coral Bliss (Cremesheen Finish): A gorgeous muted pinky coral. Beautiful on all skin tones and looks great if you’re looking for a natural pink lip that’s slightly more pigmented than a nude.
Costa Chic (Frost Finish): A bright coral pink with a very slight shimmer to it. Even though it’s a frost, it doesn’t really seem like it is, just like MAC Angel.
Saigon Summer (Cremesheen Finish): Love orange lipsticks but scared to wear them? This is a good one for you if MAC Morange is too intense for you. A beautiful orange lipstick that’s appropriate for even a day time look.
