Concealer is one make up item I definitely cannot stay without – whether it’s for concealing or highlighting, it’s something I use everyday and find it makes a big difference to my overall look if I don’t use it.
Today, I’ll be letting you all know about one of my all time favourite concealers – the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Custard.
Packaging: This concealer comes in a sleek 6ml see through tube, which is good as you can easily see which shade you have. It also has a matte, black lid with a built in wand applicator.
Application: I find that this product is really easy to apply and also blends in effortlessly. I like the wand applicator as this makes it easier to apply and also allows you to control the amount of product to use.
Texture: For me, the texture perfect. Not too thick and not too light. It blends in well, whilst giving a very good coverage and most importantly, doesn’t crease!
Shades: The Nars Radiant Creamy Concealers come in various shades – about 10 if I’m not mistaken, so you’re bound to find one that works best for your skin tone, as well as shades to brighten and contour if need be.
The one I have so far is Custard, which is a pale-medium shade. As I’m not tanned at the moment, it is a bit dark for me, however in Summer it’s good for brightening the under eye area. At the moment, I’d say Chantilly or Vanilla would be better suited for my pale skin.
Cost: Unfortunately, I don’t have Nars where I’m from, so I can only get this when I’m on holiday, or else online. Most of the time, I tend to buy my Nars products from LookFantastic.com. From here, I usually get this concealer for about €30, but this also includes shipping. It is a bit pricey, but it’s such great quality that I don’t mind paying for this. I also use on a daily basis and have had it for ages!
Verdict: It’s quite clear that this is one of my favourites! I love the range of shades, the applicator, and best of all, the coverage, non crease formula and long staying power that it has. Definitely worth looking into if you’re thinking of trying out a new concealer.
