Milk_Shake’s Integrity Nourishing Shampoo

If you don’t already know, I’m a huge fan of Milk_Shake’s hair care range. It all started a couple of years ago when my hairdresser used the mousse leave-in conditioner on my hair. From then on, I was hooked!

In my quest to try out as many products from the range as possible, I have now tried out another one of their shampoos – Milk_Shake’s Integrity Nourishing Shampoo.

Milk_Shake’s Integrity Nourishing Shampoo

Packaging: A 300ml white plastic bottle, with a screw cap on the top.

Product Features: This is a nourishing shampoo for all hair types and contains organic Muru Muru Butter to gently cleanse, nourish and hydrate the hair. It claims to help eliminate frizz and leave your hair feeling nice and soft.

Bonus: This product is free of any parabens, sulphates and sodium chloride.

Scent: The smell of this is just heavenly (like most Milk_Shake products). It’s a beautiful combination of banana, papaya and mango (in my opinion). It’s so delicious and fruity, I could eat it! 😉

What I Love: Apart from the gorgeous smell, this lathers up beautifully and really does feel nourishing and moisturising on my hair. It makes it feel thoroughly cleaned, yet not stripped of any moisture and leaves it smelling beautiful. Also, as it’s moisturising, it’s great for getting out any knots that little bit faster and perfect for anyone with dry or coloured hair.

The Only Downside: The product itself is super thick! It’s more of a conditioner type of texture than a shampoo one. That’s fine really, however the problem is that it can be quite hard to actually get any product out. You really need to shake the bottle hard to get the product to the bottom (cap) and squeeze hard to get a good amount out.

Cost: I got this off BeautyBay for about €15.50, however this also includes a shipping fee.

I have never heard of this range before, but it sounds amazing. From the name, to the lack of nasties, and the smell! I need to get my hands on it. I wonder if its available anywhere in New Zealand?
