What’s in my Bag? (Evening #2)

Hi Everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend.

I had a colleague’s wedding so it was great opportunity to get all dressed up! Today, I’ll be showing you my bag and what I packed in it for the evening.

Lately, I’ve been doing my very best to keep the number of items to a minimum. It’s been easy to achieve for evening events, however my day bags still need a good clean out!

The Bag – DiorWithout a doubt, my favourite evening handbag ever. I bought this after much debate as a form of ‘retail therapy’ when feeling very broke after buying a home with my boyfriend. Contradictory, I know. However, it will probably be the first and last pricey handbag I will ever buy. Beautiful and just oozing sophistication – a gorgeous piece that’s great for a special event.

Concealer: One of my favourites lately, MAC’s studio finish concealer in NC30. A fantastic consistency with superb long-lasting coverage. Definitely on par with my other favourite from Nars.

Powder: Nars pressed powder in Beach. I just love this! It gives a subtle colour, adding warmth and high coverage whilst keeping make up in place. Cheaper products do a similar job but this mirror it comes with is handy when out and about.

Brush: My skin is a bit dry at the moment so I got a small brush that I usually use for highlighting just to powder the t-zone if needed. The Sigma tapered highlighter F35 brush is perfect for this too. Great quality and lovely, soft bristles.

Eye Pencil:My favourite eye pencil so far, MAC’s ‘Engraved’ black eye pencil. It’s super black and intense and stays on all night with minimal touching up needed.

Lipstick: After my recent clear out of lipsticks, I fell back in love again with Milani’s Sangria. A gorgeous, deep plum colour that’s super sultry and long lasting. The great thing about it is that it isn’t drying on the lips, and fades evenly leaving a nice berry shade.

Lip Balm: I’m always carrying around lip balm lately and Vaseline is always one of my favourites. Extremely hydrating and long-lasting, these always get the job done.

Let’s Socialize!

  1. I keep meaning to get the MAC concealer – I had it ages ago but it was too heavy for under eye but I think it’d be perfect for spots or hyperpigmentation.
My evening purse is usually tiny so I can maybe manage a compact and a lipstick – that’s it. 😛

  2. I fell in love with the tapered sigma brush and the sad thing is that, it is not available in UK and it looks so gorgeous. While coming back to the lipstick, I have a similar shade in Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick and I totally love that shade. Also, the bag looks so stunning too. All in all, great selection of products.
